Jennifer was the Director for multiple award-winning consultancy firm Socom, the Deputy Executive Director of the Australian Retailers Association, the founder of Creative Geelong Inc and ran her own Geelong-based consultancy firm tandemVox.

Business and Finance Coordinator
Julie-Ann has been working with the Committee for Geelong for the past two years as a finance contractor. She has previously worked with the NAB as a business banker. Julie-Ann recently completed her Business Analytics Degree at Deakin University.
Leadership Portfolio Business Coordinator
Victoria Strachan joined the Committee for Geelong in October 2019. She has a Bachelor of Economics from University of Melbourne and worked in the stockbroking, banking and finance sectors early in her career. For twenty years she has worked in the private sector running a successful legal business as well as consulted to the health, hospitality, IT and arts sectors. Victoria has 25 years of experience within community organisations with board experience in a regional health service and local government. Most recently, Vicki worked with the Diversity Field Officer Service (Deakin University) and successfully engaged with leading Geelong businesses to improve disability confidence in the workplace. Victoria has a strong interest in building a vibrant, equitable and inclusive society within the Geelong region.
Leadership Portfolio Manager
Janet’s role is to help Committee for Geelong to grow inspired, capable and well-connected visionaries who are prepared to lead their own organisations and the wider community. She facilitates, manages, and develops our suite of leadership programs including Leaders for Geelong and Activate.
Her raison d’être is to develop ‘leaders for good’ – switched on changemakers who make a tangible impact on the collective wellbeing of current and future generations in their area of passion and purpose.
She brings over ten years of experience focused on developing people’s engagement and performance in organisations. As a management consultant, leadership trainer, facilitator and executive coach, she has worked with Ernst and Young, RogenSi, Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership, Lighthouse and Blackdot.
Janet is studying Masters of Organisational Change, Innovation and Leadership at Victoria University. Her qualifications include: Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), Cert. IV Training and Assessment, Grad. Cert. Corporate Responsibility, and Executive Coaching – Level 2 (International Coaching Federation ATQ).
Corporate Affairs Manager
Holly joined the Committee after running a small business on the Great Ocean Road where she managed community engagement, marketing, events and training. Previously, Holly has worked in international education and global events in China. Holly holds a Master of Journalism and Master of International Development & Environmental Analysis and Bachelor of Arts Majoring in Chinese Language & Culture.

Marketing & Events Administrator
Caro supports the Committee’s organisation of in-person and virtually held events.
Originally from Ireland, Caro has built her event management experience through various roles in London and Australia over the past 15 years. She holds a BA in Economics and Sociology and Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations and Event Management.
Since moving to the Bellarine, Caro has worked for Give Where You Live Foundation and is keen to continue doing community-focused work through her role at the Committee.
