Julie-Ann has been working with the Committee for Geelong for the past two years as a finance contractor. She has previously worked with the NAB as a business banker. Julie-Ann recently completed her Business Analytics Degree at Deakin University.

Catherine is a passionate and dedicated Leadership development specialist with over 20 years’ experience, both nationally and internationally. A popular and in-demand Speaker, Facilitator and Leadership Coach, Catherine has worked with tens of thousands of people in all kinds of organisations to help them discover their authentic strengths and truly shine. Catherine’s approach is grounded in the science of Applied Positive Psychology, using research-backed methods to build team, leadership and organisational capability and resilience. A respected leader herself in the Professional Coaching and HR fields, Catherine holds formal qualifications in Business, Positive Psychology, HR, Coaching and Mental Health. With a corporate background, strong commitment to community development and a down-to-earth approach, this Geelong local brings her unique blend of science, heart and energy to every interaction.

Leadership Portfolio Coordinator
Karen joined the Committee for Geelong in May this year as the Leadership Program Coordinator after a long stretch working for Deakin University. She is excited to be a part of an program which enriches peoples lives and contributes to providing a positive benefit to the region.
Her career at Deakin encompassed a range of roles within the Marketing Division, most recently as the Merchandise Manager, where she directed the growth of the merchandise unit to one which collaborated with the Cotton On Group to produce contemporary ranges aimed at the student market, with donations from sales going towards The Unite Project to assist homeless youth.
Karen lives with her family on a few acres on the Surfcoast surrounded by a plethora of animals, but is most at home in the veggie patch.
