Visitor Economy Ministerial Advisory
The Committee for Geelong (CfG)'s CEO Rebecca Casson has been
appointed to the Victorian State Government's new Visitor Economy
Ministerial Advisory Committee (VEMAC).
Announced today by the Minister for Tourism and Major Events,
John Eren, the new committee has been appointed to help steer
Victoria's new approach to tourism and major events.
To be chaired by former Victorian Minister for Tourism, John
Pandazopolous, VEMAC will provide advice to the State Government on
growing Victoria's visitor economy. CfG Board member and Avalon
Airport CEO Justin Giddings has also been appointed to the 11
person committee, alongside Ms Casson.
CEO of the Committee for Geelong for the past three years, Ms
Casson also brings a wealth of experience from working in a broad
range of roles across the UK, Europe and the USA.
