Coulter Roache hosts Transforming Geelong briefing

Local law firm Coulter Roache today hosted a Transforming Geelong briefing to help its Principals and clients see Geelong through new eyes.

The briefing, presented by the Committee for Geelong's (CfG) Transforming Geelong team, drew attention to the positive changes that are taking place in the region.

"Following recent announcements about Geelong it is important that the business community remains positive, and being optimistic takes courage," CfG CEO Rebecca Casson said.

"Coulter Roache is one of many organisations undertaking Transforming Geelong briefings for their staff and clients.  From the feedback we have received, it is clear that our briefings are empowering these organisations to highlight our city's bright future."

The briefing emphasized that, at the heart of Geelong's reinvention are core strengths and emerging industry clusters with the capacity to drive the city's future economic growth, including its recognition as a corporate and government headquarter hub; as a centre of knowledge, innovation and research; as a hub for allied and health services; as a transport and logistics hub and as a lifestyle and tourism destination.

"Coulter Roache has experienced its own recent growth with the opening of three new offices in Torquay, Lorne and Waurn Ponds," Coulter Roache Managing Principal Tom White said.

"After 80 years of serving the Geelong community, Coulter Roache will continue to spread the positive message of our city's transformation."

Ms Casson said she was pleased to see so many businesses taking part in the Transforming Geelong initiative.

"Geelong is a resilient city and its ultimate success or failure lies in the positive actions of the business community."
